FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW
Inspected by Us.
Make memories that will last a lifetime aboard your superyacht charter. Let the luxury yacht IVA introduce you to all the exotic secrets Croatia has in store for sailors. Discover hidden bays and secluded coves, before diving in crystal-clear waters or enjoying a sunset dining experience.
This luxury yacht can accommodate 10 guests in utter comfort, served by a dedicated and expert crew of 5. The cabin layout on IVA yacht charter is configured to match one master cabin, one VIP cabin, one double cabin & two twin cabins convertible to a double.
Stabilisers at anchor and air conditioning in each interior area make every charter on your superyacht that much more comfortable and enjoyable. With a cruising speed of 24 knots and max speed of 30 knots, she is more than capable of adhering to rich charter itineraries. This fact is also complemented by her length of 29 meters, more than enough space to handle all the requirements a typical superyacht charter vacation has.
Some of the more exotic features on IVA yacht charter are: an electric movable sunroof on the sun deck, a hydraulic swim platform with a transom garage door that doubles as a beach club lounge space, a fully appointed bar on the sun deck and a day head in the main deck hallway.
With all of these rich and luxurious features, if you decide to charter this marvellous yacht, you will never want to leave her comfortable cabins, sleek decks and inviting salon. On IVA, there are no carpets in the living areas, only in the living quarters; this means that there is no risk whatsoever of messing up the carpet in any way.
Read on to find out more about IVA yacht charter…
IVA is a Ferretti 960 model boasting a rich charter career, with regular guests that return year after year, because of her hard-working crew, excellent chef, modern technologies and Italian design. In 2013, the Ferretti 960 model was the biggest Ferretti ever produced, equipped with amenities like electric shades or a starboard side door.
After each charter, every guest recognized IVA yacht charter for what she really is: a charter star capable of serving a wide array of requirements and providing an equal amount of service, all with a smile from her expert crew.
Her exterior features a singular, fully elongated glass window that adds to the impression of her profile, as well as providing an excellent source of daylight that comes in and overflows the entirety of the main deck with ease.
A DAY ON THE YACHT
Every day can bring something new when you are on a superyacht charter vacation. As soon as you wake up, the first thing on your mind will be all the possibilities that are viable with IVA yacht charter. Grab a bite from the breakfast buffet and start chatting with your charter party about the preferred locations you would like to visit.
If you are not sure about which location to pick, it is always a wise decision to listen to the advice of your experienced crew, who are sometimes even local. With their knowledge, be sure that you will be introduced to only the most exclusive and hidden-from-sight locations, that are normally reserved only for the locals.
After consulting with both your charter party and the crew, politely ask the captain to change course and start cruising towards Lastovo, a relatively small island located in the south Adriatic Sea.
Lastovo is always a popular destination for all those who wish to escape the summer crowds that sometimes overwhelm specific locations in the central Croatian Adriatic. If you choose to visit Lastovo, prepare to feel a truly Robinsonian atmosphere, arriving on an island that has no cars and a standing population of less than 800. Here, the only means of transportation are boats and bicycles.
With a totally private atmosphere, Lastovo is truly a yachting paradise with nature that has rarely felt the hand of man and with the sea so clear, you could see all the way to the bottom of a 20-meter seabed slope.
Circle the entire island and find the perfect anchorage that fits all your needs and expectations. Decide to thoroughly investigate your chosen beach with the snorkelling gear available on IVA yacht charter. Prepare everything you need and set off into a mini-adventure, never knowing what you may find on the mysterious seabed.
The Croatian Adriatic Sea is globally known as one of the cleanest bodies of water on the planet, so there will be no problem in observing longer depths in the water. There will also surely be sea urchins, a type of underwater animal that serves as an indicator of the cleanliness of the water. Nevertheless, push onwards under the water, your eyes fully opened, searching for that ultimate prize.
Suddenly, something shiny catches your eye, and it is a breath’s distance away from you; you fill your lungs and free dive. Emerge successfully and closely inspect the prize in your hand: it is an abalone, a type of shiny crab shell, and a favourite trophy for many divers visiting the waters of Croatia.
After an enjoyable, but tiring snorkelling session, consider going back to IVA yacht charter, hungry for some Michelin-level delicacies made by your expert chef. Dig into caviar with marinated mozzarella and melba toast, grilled pork with sweet potato and carrot purée and a vanilla and chocolate cheesecake, paired with seasonal fruits. Eat until you feel the need to relax after a meal, while the crew serves espresso-martinis, a perfect pick-me-up after an enjoyable lunch.
In the afternoon, take advantage of the low number of tourists on the island and occupy a private beach just for you, where you can sunbathe and swim in total privacy. Do not be worried about any unforeseen circumstances; the only people that could disturb you are the people that chartered their own superyachts and are looking for the same thing you are: peace, quiet and privacy.
Lie on the comfortable sun loungers your expert crew has provided, sporadically getting up and throwing yourself into the refreshing sea, only to return to the same position under the sun. Do this until the sun has set so low it cannot serve as an incentive to go into the water again.
At that moment, inform your crew that you are ready to go back to ALEXANDRA yacht charter, craving dinner, sweets and champagne. Once you arrive aboard, get ready for mouth-watering delicacies, while you are seated at a wonderfully decorated dining table on the main deck aft.
A dinner menu consisting of lobster with cucumber and paprika rice balls, served with a side of sweet chilli sauce, salted sea bass fillet with a spinach reduction and lemon zest and a chocolate souffle, with home-made strawberry jam for dessert will surely spark your interest. After you are done eating, stay at the table for a bit longer, drinking your drink of choice and just enjoying life on your superyacht charter holiday.
You could consider going skinny-dipping in the evening if an adventurous urge should preoccupy you. On the other hand, a hot shower and a comfortable berth do not sound bad either.
YACHT CHARTER DINING
IVA`s crew will always make sure you are not hungry, so if even the slightest idea of food would arise in your mind, just mention it to the crew and they will be ready with delicious and healthy snacks and beverages in a blink of an eye.
More concrete food will also always be on-demand, like chilli chicken pasta with red pesto sauce, pumpkin tortellini with chestnuts and a sage beurre noisette. Another choice is the shrimp salad with basil & mint, paired with red lentil puree and mushrooms and goat’s milk and fig leaf ice cream with blackcurrant juice, blackberries and olive oil.
If there are any special occasions, be sure to notify your chef, so he has time to prepare wonderful gastronomic surprises, like cakes, pastry or a multiple-course menu. On IVA yacht charter, the food will be specially designed to fit your tastes and requirements. It is in this domain that the chef will display unrivalled culinary knowledge, always preparing the food you prefer, but with a Michelin-star twist.
This could include dishes like whole-wheat penne rigate with kale, chilli, garlic and pecorino romano, linguine with prawns, lemon and parsley, charred mackerel linguine with rocket and almond, aged parmesan and amalfi lemon and a dessert dish like raspberry crème brûlée and coconut snow.
When enjoying meals served on IVA yacht charter be sure that you will always have the best waterfront view, connecting you to the sea when dining. It is in this atmosphere that you will dine on fresh fish, surrounded by a wonderful Adriatic atmosphere, the salty sea air and the sound of the waves, gently crashing against the hull of IVA.
YACHT MAIN DECK
The largest in the line of Ferretti-built yachts, IVA yacht charter has an award-winning and innovative transom design that serves double roles: as a tender garage when it’s open and a comfortable lounge surface when it is closed.
The main deck aft features a clean profile, thanks to hatches that conceal all the ropes and lines needed for docking. Here, the alfresco dining table is pushed forward, while a U-shaped lounge is moved back, allowing for full service to continue around the table and for guests to relax after a meal, while there are others still sitting at the table.
The port side of the aft deck features a docking station, with thruster and engine control. On the opposite side is the staircase, leading to the flybridge. To the bow, the foredeck features two lounging spaces, with upper sun pads and lower forward-facing bench seats, separated by the stairway leading to the sun pads.
Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area
When it comes to the interior, the saloon`s atmosphere leaves an admirable first impression, mainly thanks to the volume and the space enabled by the layout, providing guests with a space that is full of natural light during the day and an excellent choice to spend the evenings in.
Smart details and ornaments add to the overall luxurious feel of the salon. Electric shades to both port and starboard add practicality when controlling the amount of daylight you want coming in or the level of privacy when you are at the dock. The location of the dining area is forward of the living area, with a marvellous dining table that can sit to 10 guests.
A truly unique feature of her hull is the starboard sliding door that opens up onto the side deck walkway, combining the atmosphere of the salon with the sea like no other yacht of her length could do.
Passing through this sliding door, guests find themselves at an exposed part of the hull, being walled off by polished, stainless steel handrails, that add to the impression of a balcony staring off into the scenic distance. Use this door to walk outside with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning and feel as if you are standing on a floating platform in the middle of the sea.
Passing through the dining area and arriving into the foyer, guests can either follow a staircase to the lower deck or arrive at the day head, a nice addition to an already generous main deck layout.
Yacht Charter Accommodation: The master cabin
Continuing onwards, one arrives at the master suite, which features a king size berth and plenty of walk-around space. A walk-in wardrobe to starboard will make sure that guests have more than enough room to store all their clothes, while a pop-up vanity feature further contributes to an already generously proportioned accommodation.
Clean lines and inviting colours blend harmoniously with wood cabinetry, flooring and ornaments, creating a tranquil ambience. The ensuite is generously sized and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxed superyacht charter vacation in Croatia.
YACHT LOWER DECK
The winding staircase transports the guest from the main deck onto the lower deck, which comprises two double cabins and two twin cabins. The lower deck on IVA yacht charter is the synonym for Italian design: tasteful yet simple, with neat lines and light tones. The dark timber flooring is complemented by light wooden furnishings, with leather panels and subtle artificial lighting.
The open and bright interior of the lower deck invites guests to come in and make themselves at home. Plenty of space for storage, in the form of drawers, cabinets and hanging lockers will make sure all the surfaces are tidy and neat, contributing to the overall luxury feel of IVA yacht charter. Because of numerous windows and portholes, all the cabins on the lower deck have a fantastic view of the sea, just above the waterline.
Yacht Charter Accommodation: The double cabin
The double cabin is very similar to the VIP, in regards to decor and appointedness. The queen sized berth is placed centerline, with two nightstands on both sides. A flat-screen TV is located in front of the berth, so guests could relax and watch a movie or their favourite show.
Right above their heads is a wide window, which lets in a massive amount of daylight in the cabin. The ensuite is very well decorated, with light wood panels and white coarse surfaces. It features a sink, a shower and a head – everything a charter guest would need on their superyacht holiday in Croatia.
Yacht Charter Accommodation: The twin cabin
The most important thing to know about IVA`s twin cabin is that it can be converted into a double, to better accommodate all the different possible sleeping arrangements. Besides that, the twin is well-appointed and also smartly decorated.
The colour palette is more or less the same as in the rest of the lower deck, with wooden surfaces, white coarse panels and plush wool carpets. The berths are comfortable, which means guests will constantly be full of energy and ready to tackle every fun and thrilling experience while they enjoy their Croatian charter holiday.
Yacht Charter Accommodation: The VIP cabin
The velvet carpet underneath your feet will make all guests feel like they are stepping on the fines and soft sand. The wall panels are mostly neutral brown and sandy wood colour, with intricate profiles carved out, to form geometrical shapes and patterns, adding to the aesthetic feel of the VIP cabin.
A generously spaced window above the berth provides all the light needed when enjoying your holiday on IVA yacht charter. A queen size berth is placed directly opposite a flat-screen TV, so you could enjoy your favourite movie or series in a comfortable and air-conditioned environment. There are nightstands on both sides of the double berth so that each guest has their own night storage space.
YACHT FLYBRIDGE
The interior and the exterior helm stations are connected via stairs to the flybridge. With numerous stationary sunbeds and movable sun loungers, the flybridge is a highly versatile area, capable of converting into a space that can serve a wide variety of purposes.
The outdoor double grill station and wet bar provide a central point for all the potential partying that could take place on the flybridge; the integrated ice maker will always make sure your drinks are chilled to perfection.
The alfresco dining option consists of a large U-shaped sofa encircling a wide dining table. With an added option of a bimini-sail configuration above the open aft sundeck on the flybridge, guests can either opt for a totally shaded atmosphere or take the sun directly. Last but not least, the hardtop has a convertible sunroof, which can also greatly impact the overall atmosphere on the flybridge.
YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM
The beach club and swimming platform on IVA yacht charter is designed to be multi-functional, satisfying different needs for entertainment and experiencing fun and excitement. Enjoying water toys is only a small part of the bigger role that the swimming platform and beach club play on every charter holiday in Croatia.
The innovative transom door and the swim platform are both decently sized and when combined with the potential of the transom loungers, they provide a totally unique and different experience of being close to the sea. This is enabled when the hydraulic transom door opens, because it has sun lounging cushions moulded in its frame. The possibilities with this innovative transom lounger are endless.
Enjoy the stern panorama while you lounge on the integrated transom bench, as IVA gently cruises around the Croatian Adriatic sea. If you happen to spot a perfect anchorage for the day, inform your crew and captain, and they will immediately deploy the anchor, so you could enjoy your chosen location to full extent. While the yachts anchors, call for your crew to supply you with refreshing drinks and cocktails, as well as cremes and oils for achieving that perfect bronze tan.
YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS
The crew on IVA will always stand by to provide instructions, training, assistance or aid to all guests inclined towards trying out one or all of the water toys.
IVA yacht charter offers a collection of water toys that include a Williams tender, a Sea doo jet ski for three, two Seabobs, an inflatable kayak, a stand up paddleboard and all the snorkelling and fishing equipment you could ever need. With a three-person jet ski, take two of your friends for a ride of their life.
With totally safe and secure safety systems, be sure you will have a thrilling ride, the three of you jumping on waves and having a blast. Slow down and switch seats, letting your friends take the wheel and seeing who is the better driver.
After a fun ride, change gears into something more relaxing, pairing sea bobs and snorkelling gear to create a unique experience of flying between the surface of the sea and the seabed. Observe the variety of underwater life, as you glide parallel to the shoreline. If you spot a particularly beautiful seashell, take it with you to always remind you of the fun and unforgettable times you had when chartering IVA.
