A DAY ON THE YACHT
A yachting holiday is a special occasion that deserves attention in all aspects of planning. Luckily, if you book SOLAL yacht charter with SuperYachts Croatia, our dedicated support staff can help plan every aspect of your vacation. Our local know-how will make the difference between a regular experience or an unforgettable adventure in the Croatian Adriatic sea.
And is there a better place to start a yacht charter holiday in Croatia then in Zadar, the centre of the Adriatic and one of the most preserved medieval cities on the Adriatic coastline.
A city that intertwines contemporary influences with tradition and cultural heritage, Zadar is also a perfect launching pad into the Zadar archipelago, a set of some 300 islands and isles, all ready to be explored and all instantly accessible to yachts.
Among the collection of these emerald isles, Pašman island will be a perfect spot for a first-day charter experience.
Located south of Zadar, Pašman is separated from the mainland by the Pašman channel and is relatively easy to get to. Nevertheless, it also offers plenty of opportunities for finding peace and solitude, in one of many secluded bays and coves that litter its coastline. Pašman is also recognized as the island with the greenest surface in the entire Adriatic, so nature lovers will have an extra something to look forward to.
When you arrive near Pašman, your captain will anchor SOLAL in a private bay, so you could enjoy a quaint yacht lunch. After lunch, you may want to raise anchor and explore one of countless beaches that litter Pašman’s coastline, each one beautiful in its own right, with the ability to satisfy different needs of charter guests.
There are beaches that are ideal for water toys, and beaches perfect for families with children, but also beaches fit for guests in search for peace and quiet, in a beautiful natural surroundings. Tratica and Dužica beaches are perfect for kids, because there are numerous facilities, like showers, restaurants and beach amenities. The sea bottom is sandy, although there are concrete platforms also.
Lučina beach is perfect for guests who want to relax in a natural surrounding, comfortably nestled in the shade of pine trees, while Barotul beach offers a sandy shoreline. There are even more beaches on the southern coast of Pašman island: camp Sovinje offers a sandy nudist beach, with dozens of others smaller sandy coves in the vicinity.
If enjoying the sea and lazing around in the sun is not a preferred option, charter guests can also hike the trail leading to the highest point of Pašman (at 247meters), with a possibility of arranging transportation to the top with electric bikes or quads.
There is massive potential for trips and picnics around Pašman, particularly on Galešnjak island, also known as the “Island of Love” due to its natural shape, that strongly resembles a heart when observed from the air. This romantic destination is perfect for an intimate candlelit dinner aboard SOLAL yacht charter or as a curious stop on your way of exploring the secrets of Pašman island.
Pašman can also be used as a launching pad into the far reaches of the Zadar archipelago, because its proximity to Kornati National Park and Telaščica Nature Park.
YACHT CHARTER DINING
Since SOLAL yacht charter has a dedicated chef, expect dishes that will match Michelin dishes, both in quality and presentation. The chef is adaptable and can also prepare family-style and buffet meals, as well as dishes fit for a fine dining experience.
Be sure not to miss out on the wonderful cuisine of Pašman island, which is based on typical Adriatic recipes which contain fresh seafood, locally grown vegetables, wild herbs and spices and excellent wines and olive oils.
Exterior
Featuring a traditional hull that has been upgraded to match the modern requests of charter guests, SOLAL yacht charter finds the perfect balance between utilization and comfort. Her guests will adore the multiple features and amenities, all fitted to give the best holiday experiences imaginable.
When guests board this gem of a yacht, they will be welcomed by perfectly-chilled champagne on the main deck aft. This area has a compact dining setup, with a table and four movable chairs; usually yachts tend to sport the main dining area on the main deck aft, but this is not the case with SOLAL yacht charter, because the majority of dining will take place on the flybridge.
There is, however, a feature of the main deck exterior that is designed around the premise of providing an environment where guests will able to sunbathe and socialize in a comfortable environment.
This refers to the bow sundeck, where two rows of very wide sun mattresses are moulded into the superstructure frame, in front of the helm station windshield. This gives the guests a dose or privacy, as well as unobstructed views of the cruising direction when SOLAL yacht charter is underway.
From the main deck aft, guests can step into the interior salon when they want a respite from the summer heat, thanks to the air-conditioned interior.
YACHT MAIN DECK
The light décor in the interior pairs well with the polished cherry woods, which reflects incoming daylight all throughout the salon, while also radiating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: MAIN SALON & DINING AREA
Guests will feel relaxed and sophisticated while spending time in the indoor salon. Right off the door, potential clients will be welcomed by a generous lounge setup, consisting off elongated sofas that extend alongside both the portside and starboard walls, with a moveable coffee table in the middle.
With elongated windows on both sides of the hull, guests may also enjoy a well-lit salon, which enables enjoyment of sun`s rays, but in an air-conditioned environment. The floor plan of the salon follows a zig-zag path, thereby creating separate parts of the same space, but in a subtle and ingenious manner.
When it comes to the dining area, the dining table is positioned sideway, following the criss-cross direction of the salon. Although it is only an optical border, the layout of the salon does a great job in separating the lounge area from the dining area.
Forward from the dining area, guests can enter the galley, located to starboard, or continue straight and reach the interior helm station. With a dinette in the starboard corner, one can sit down and enjoy the panorama while SOLAL yacht charter is underway.
To reach the flybridge, guests need to use the only staircase that connects the two decks, located on the port side of the helm station hallway.
YACHT FLYBRIDGE
As mentioned earlier, the main dining arrangement aboard SOLAL yacht charter can be found on the flybridge. A big modular dining table is surrounded with a wide C-shaped sofa lounge arrangement, with its back turned to the stern.
The stern is usually occupied by the tender, while SOLAL yacht charter is underway, but once the tender is launched, a big space is freed, allowing guests to use it for a multitude of purposes, like yoga asanas or improvised gym exercises.
A wet bar is located on the portside, enabling guests to enjoy a bespoke lounging environment, in which the charter crew will serve hand-made cocktails and premium champagne, also using this surface to prepare snacks, canapés and sushi.
Opposite the wet bar is a wide and comfortable sunbed, enough for several guests to lay in and enjoy. This sunbed, in combination with the sunbathing arrangements on the main deck bow will be the perfect means of obtaining that ideal bronze tan, which is indeed a coveted attribute for sun lovers on a yacht vacation in Croatia.
Good communication between the alfresco dining area, the bar and the sunbed is ensured, so guests using every amenity on the flybridge feel equally included in the social situation onboard SOLAL yacht charter.
YACHT LOWER DECK
There are two twins and two double cabins on the lower deck of SOLAL yacht charter. The double cabins are arranged as a master and a VIP cabin, while the twins are mirror images of one another, and can be found nestled in the bow of the lower deck.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: TWIN CABINS
The layout of the twin cabins aboard SOLAL yacht charter is something quite different than what can be observed on other yachts, similar to SOLAL. Usually, a VIP cabin with a queen-sized berth is placed in the bow of the lower deck, with the berth in the centre position.
But, the twin cabins take advantage of this fact, splitting the space of the queen into two twin berths, separated by a dividing wall and another twin cabin parallel to the first, placed directly against the hull. This way, the two identical twin cabins are right besides each other, with the design features plenty of glossy light wood surfaces, with neutral furnishings that give a natural vibe to this space. Guests will
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: THE VIP STATEROOM
Located amidship in the lower deck, the entrance to the VIP is positioned on the starboard side of the foyer, in between the twin cabins and the master cabin. This unusual arrangement does not hinder the level of comfort the VIP cabin provides.
In fact, this cabin features similar polished wood carpentry, observable in other interior spaces aboard SOLAL yacht charter. Portholes on the starboard side supply the VIP with plenty of natural light throughout the day , ensuring that the guests have a pleasant stay aboard.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: THE MASTER SUITE
The full-beam master cabin aboard SOLAL yacht charter takes all the best features from the interior design of this yacht and puts them together in one room. This creates an inviting atmosphere that beckons guests to relax and enjoy in a bespoke environment. Right off the entrance, guests are welcomed with a compact vanity table on the port side, followed by a quaint sofa, which can also serve as a day bed.
Next to the sofa is a walk-in closet, followed by a queen sized berth in the centre of the cabin. The design of the master heavily features polished light wood carpentry, as well ass wall panels and cabinetry on the port side of the cabin.
YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM
SOLAL’s swimming platform will be the perfect place where charter guests will have a chance to try out all the different water toys on offer on this yacht. Alternatively, guests can sit at the edge of the platform and enjoy being close to the water, while the attentive stewardess provides snacks and refreshing cocktails.
Also, there are underwater LED lights built into the hull; in the evening, these lights will provide a fairy tale-like environment for the guests, who can enjoy a night swim in the illuminated waters around the yacht, all the while marvelling at the glistening night`s sky.
YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS
Guests will want to spend most of their free time in the water once they get familiar with all the different water toys aboard SOLAL yacht charter. Starting with 2 stand-up paddleboards, which will provide a tranquil experience on the water, enabling guests to slowly paddle among the indented shoreline of Croatian islands, all the while discovering numerous secluded capes, charming coves and solitary bays.
For a bit more fun, let a member of your charter crew hop on the tender and tow one of several towable toys, including a donut, water-skis and wakeboards. The donut is preferred among kids on a family charter vacation, offering an experience similar to a ride on a crazy water park ride, while the wakeboard and water-skis require a bit more practice and a sense for balance.
Nevertheless, once guests successfully manage to ride these, a self-satisfactory smile will not leave their face for the rest of the duration of their holiday. Lastly, snorkelling gear will come in handy for guests who will want to explore the mysterious depths of the Croatian Adriatic sea and discover a world of beauty and wonder, living beneath the waves.
