FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW

Inspected by Us.

SPIRIT yacht charter is something completely different; something that most charter guests have not yet seen. Made by Amels, she is everything a seasoned sea-farer would want from a superyacht, and more. Thanks to her concept, as well as the harmonized décor and design of the interior, she is able to bring the seaside atmosphere straight into every corner of the interior, creating a unique atmosphere, where guests can truly feel connected with the sea.

Her free-flowing sea vibe is something that is unique only to SPIRIT yacht charter, and it can be felt the moment you first set foot on the deck of this magnificent yacht; her length of 54 meters is enough to provide a luxurious and bespoke vacation in Croatia.

SPIRIT yacht charter has won an award for Interior Design in 2020, envisioned and brought to light by Dome Project Interiors. Built by Amels in 2011, the last refit on this yacht was in 2020, preparing her for several more years as an excellent charter vessel in Croatia. With a cruising speed reaching 13 knots, SPIRIT yacht charter can also develop full speeds of 16 knots.

She is fitted with both at anchor and underway stabilizers, which will ensure a stable and levelled cruising experience, as well as undisturbed slumber when SPIRIT is anchored or berthed. SPIRIT yacht charter can accommodate a total of 11 guests, which can be allocated in one of 5 cabins.

There will be 13 crew members aboard SPIRIT, a number that will guarantee a higher echelon of service and a bespoke luxury experience, since there will be more than one crew member per charter guest.

One of the strongest features of this marvellous yacht is the fully-furnished wellness room, where guests can relax with a facial or a deep-tissue massage, provided by the onboard therapist. This means that, whenever you wish, you can relax in a totally customizable wellness facility. Lastly, what would a superyacht charter be without an expansive sundeck and a costume-made jacuzzi, surrounded by a second alfresco dining area and a private bar?

A DAY ON THE YACHT

Let your first day of charter be a relaxing experience, one where you will not travel far, but see a lot of incredible things. This is possible if you book a yacht with SuperYachts Croatia and make Šibenik your home port, because this location is simply stunning, while also offering a wide range of different choices and types of natural beauties to observe.

When you first arrive in Šibenik for your Croatian charter holiday, you will be surprised by the amount of historical heritage and culture a city like Šibenik can contain. If time allows it, you can undertake a quick tour of this charming and historic place, starting with the Šibenik Cathedral, a UNESCO-protected architectural marvel built without using any binding agent or mortar –just pure stone stacked on stone by means of smart joint locks.

Since everything is close and nearby, a quick walk through the stone streets of Šibenik will not take more than 30 minutes. Purchasing an artisan gelato from the street vendor and strolling through a narrow alley teeming with history is a perfect introduction to what life is like in Croatia during the summer. If you are seriously hungry, there is a Michelin restaurant in Šibenik, located just outside of the cathedral.

But, it would be a shame to spoil lunch, if an excellent Michelin-level meal is already being prepared for you and your charter party aboard SPIRIT yacht charter. Also, it would not be prudent to experience the entirety of Šibenik in one go; better to leave some mystery for when you return in the evening.

Board SPIRIT yacht charter in the marina or on the water – a tender pick-up is also possible if you wish to avoid the hype of a high-profile boarding procedure, to protect your privacy.

When you first lay eyes on this beautiful yacht, she will surely capture your imagination, but once you step inside and see the interior, you will immediately fall in love. What is there not to love about an interior décor that harmonically blends the subtle influences of the sea into a luxurious superyacht setting?

Enjoy the atmosphere of SPIRIT`s interior, as you tour the yacht with your stewardess, while the rest of the crew take your baggage to your designated accommodation. There is so much to see and do on SPIRIT, so do not be surprised if, during the tour, SPIRIT starts cruising to a picture-perfect location in the vicinity of Šibenik for a quaint yacht lunch. The island of Tijat provides everything you need for enjoying Michelin-level dishes in an enchanting Croatian Adriatic environment.

This small island can be found in Šibenik`s neighbourhood, surrounded by the islands of Prvić, Zmajan and Zlarin, which makes it a favourite day-trip location for yacht excursions. The highest point of the island provides excellent panoramas, as well as being adorned with a giant metal cross, seen from miles around.

The south side of the island is home to a deep bay named Tijašćica, a place where you will enjoy your yacht lunch. After SPIRIT yacht charter anchors and stabilizes, sit at the dining table on the main deck aft and enjoy an exquisite lunch, starting with freshly-caught Croatian octopus salad with olive oil and lemon vinegarette.

Continue with a halibut fillet with poached egg, sautéed spinach and dried-tomato pesto and grilled seabass with algae and seaweed puree, seasoned by using black pepper and garlic pesto. Finally, enjoy brandy snaps with coffee cream for dessert.

By finishing the last several bits of your excellent food, let your crew serve after-meal drinks and coffee as they clear the table. Since you have the entire afternoon at your disposal, you might want to stay in Tijašćica bay and enjoy the offer of SPIRIT`s water toys and the inviting Croatian Adriatic sea, beckoning guests and travellers to seek refreshment from the summer heat in the cool water.

This is a low-effort experience, that requires nothing of you than to play on water toys drink and be merry with your charter party. On the other hand, if you are up for some adventure, utilize the incredible Custom tender and plan an afternoon trip to Krka falls.

Usually, tenders do not have the capacity to carry out such a long day trip journey, but since this Custome is anything but usual, you can relax in the air-conditioned interior of the tender, as it cruises back to Šibenik and onwards to Krka falls through the white and steep canyons of the Šibenik canal.

To reach the Krka falls, a famous attraction recognized for its astounding natural beauty and a smaller part of a larger Krka National Park, you need to cover about 20 kilometres from Tijat to the northeast part of the Šibenik mainland region. Luckily, SPIRIT`s Custome tender is more than capable of transporting you and your guests through a big body of water in a short time.

Once you enter the expanse of the Prokljansko lake, you will come face to face with the entrance to the Krka National Park, in the form of a charming town of Skradin. Enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this picturesque port and prepare to step onto the next step of your journey, boarding a smaller tour boat and heading up on the Krka river, until you reach the Krka falls. This enchanting place offers a truly magical atmosphere to visitors, as well as local fish specialities.

Stay in this paradise on earth until one of your local crew members gets the call that SPIRIT yacht charter is waiting for you near Šibenik; the yacht moved since the start of your day trip and has now become an integral part of your entertainment for the evening.

Upon the tender switch at Skradin, you might want to grab a souvenir or a final photo of the doorway to paradise. After you board your Custome tender again, a trip to Šibenik port will take less than 20 minutes.

Since chit-chatting about impressions of the whole day, as well as the plans for the evening, will take up most of your time during transit, it will seem that only seconds have passed since you departed Krka falls and now are in the cabins of SPIRIT yacht charter, getting ready for a night on the town and choosing the perfect attire.

First, you will depart SPIRIT yacht charter and head straight towards Šibenik`s Michelin restaurant, Pelegrini, where a table will be waiting for you, thanks to your well-connected broker from SuperYachts Croatia.

After a fine dining experience, leave Pelegrini and enjoy a short stroll through the old core of Šibenik, before returning to SPIRIT yacht charter and enjoying the rest of your evening.

Once you enter the main deck salon, a professional acoustic band with a singer will provide entertainment for the first part of the evening. The atmosphere will resemble that of a private nightclub, with your diligent crew serving drinks and taking care of the guests, while a live band plays in the background.

If you want a change of pace, the chef has prepared a special treat on the sundeck, in form of a dessert tray filled with Michelin-level pastry sweets. These will include delicacies like midnight mango surprise, cognac chocolate truffles, speckled brownie-bottomed blackberry mousse cakes, and honeyed apples in puff pastry (made by following a traditional Croatian recipe) and coffee walnut tart.

For the end of the evening, warm up in the jacuzzi while stargazing. If there are any party-goes among your crew, you will be happy to know that Martinska bay, just across the Šibenik canal, hosts numerous music festivals during the entire summer in a beautiful environment and with prominent artists from all around the world.

YACHT CHARTER DINING

The quality and the presentation of the food on SPIRIT will be equal to the impression that the design and the décor of this yacht leave on her guests; spotless, clean, visually pleasing and absolutely magnificent, regarding taste and scent. This is because a vessel like SPIRIT yacht charter has the bar set high when it comes to all the key ingredients that make a charter vacation such a unique experience.

Your expert chef will make sure that every bite you taste will be a different sensation, thanks to all the locally-provisioned ingredients, that will create tingling textures, alluring aftertastes and spicy undertones, with every bite.

You will be able to experience this phenomenal cuisine by sitting down at the incredibly-decorated dining table and tasting dishes such as grilled beef, peppers and goat cheese sosaties, followed by braised shrimp ravioli with Istrian white truffle dressing and black bean mash. After, taste a sous vide with confit potatoes and beetroot, and finish with chocolate profiteroles for dessert.

Given that SPIRIT yacht charter is a vessel that will aim to satisfy every imaginable preference, be sure that you will not be disappointed when it comes to the quality, versatility and inspiration for the dishes you will sample.

The main chef aboard SPIRIT yacht charter is Chef Barns, hailing from Australia. After working in exclusive restaurants in Queensland, a position opened on a superyacht, and Chef Barns has not looked back ever since.

Basing his cooking style on local ingredients and a farm-to-table approach, he believes that fresh produce and locally-sourced meats are a sure way to prepare an excellent meal.

YACHT MAIN DECK

The appearance of this yacht says it all – a smooth and spotless exterior communicates a sleek charter experience, which is detrimental to the outward appearance of SPIRIT yacht charter.

Her white paint job and polarized glass surfaces, curved to mimic the shape of the sea, invite all potential clients to step aboard on her teak decks and bask in the grandeur and luxury of the exterior architecture and interior décor. To do that, guests must first board onto the main deck, either from her aft swimming platform or by using the passerelle on one of the side decks.

After boarding, the grand tour can begin, starting with the main deck aft alfresco lounge, which has an excellent connection with the beach club and swimming platform. In practice, this entire area can become one huge united space, with guests sipping cocktails, chatting and swapping water toys all in the same time, just on different levels.

The lounge area on the main deck aft is a simply gorgeous location to spend your afternoons in, because it offers plenty of shade, with the added bonuses of being close to refreshing cocktails and other luxurious amenities of your yacht, but also with the ability to jump into the sea or play with SPIRIT`s waterways at any moment.

A big stern-placed bench and 3 added sofas with a big and low-laying table in the middle also present an opportunity to enjoy the well-designed stern of the main deck and the earthen colors and natural atmosphere that can be found here.

This is partly due to this section of the yacht being close to the Croatian Adriatic sea, but also because there are several Mediterranean trees planted around the aft, making sure that the guest stays connected with nature, when spending time on SPIRIT yacht charter.

Since the main deck is not entirely walk-around, guests who want to experience a sense of what SPIRIT yacht charter is all about should step into the main deck salon.

Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area

Once in the interior, the arrangement and the choice of colours and textures will once and for all define SPIRIT as a yacht that truly integrates the sea into her design, better than any other yacht currently on the Croatian charter market.

The interior is inspired by the Croatian Adriatic in a fashion unlike any other on charter yachts; there are countless small details and permanent motifs that tie the guest to the turquoise waters of the Adriatic, like seashells, sea horses and white corals, that act as a permanent décor throughout the interior salon.

This is not done in a kitschy or flashy way, but in a subtle manner that remains both stylish and attractive, without going overboard or being too redundant.

The texturized materials in the interior mimic the very liveliness of the sea, and this is done so well that guests have a feeling that they are never far from the ocean, even when they are falling asleep.

White totally dominates the interior, with turquoise and aquamarine details, while bare wooden floors help provide a sense of groundedness and stability. Once you enter the salon, there will be a bar on the portside and a small games table to starboard. The bar will supply both the guests lounging in the main deck aft and relaxing in the interior of the salon.

Moving forward, a lounge section of the salon consists of several very comfortable and very inviting sofas and armchairs. Sit and admire the view thanks to tall and wide windows that span the entirety of the main deck interior salon and supply this space with massive amounts of sunlight during the day. Finally, guests can dine in the absolute luxury of the grand dining table, able to sit all the guests in complete opulence.

Exiting the main deck interior salon, guests enter the main deck foyer, which connects the portside galley with the salon, as well as the wellness room with the main deck master suite.
The soothing environment of the wellness room will allow each guest to feel as if they are alone in their private paradise, with their troubles just melting away with each masterful massage provided by the experienced onboard therapist.

There is also a practical day head right next to the starboard wellness room, just before the entrance to the master suite on the main deck.

Yacht charter accommodation: master suite on the main deck

A long corridor on the starboard side introduces guests to the opulent décor and lavish splendour of the main deck master suite aboard SPIRIT yacht charter. Right on the portside, before entering the central space of the suite, is a massive walk-in closet, completed with a full-size mirror and a make-up table, so guests can always look their best when dining aboard this excellent vessel.

Right next to the walk-in is the ensuite bathroom, complete with a lavish bathtub, a double sink setup and a luxurious interior design. In the centre of the suite is a massive king-size berth on the portside of the cabin, with a big flat screen TV right in front of the berth.

The starboard side of the suite houses a charming lounge arrangement, made up of a sofa and armchairs, as well as a full-sized table, which enables guests to enjoy a meal in their cabin or quickly answer some e-mails, before going for a swim in the refreshing Croatian Adriatic sea.

When it comes to the interior design of the main deck suite aboard SPIRIT yacht charter, there are no major novelties. The decorators stuck with sea-based motifs already observable in the main deck salon, without any new features; a white and bright colour palette creates a soothing and inviting atmosphere.

YACHT BRIDGE DECK

Since SPIRIT yacht charter is a modern yacht, her bridge deck is equipped with all the amenities charter guests would come to expect from a contemporary vessel such as SPIRIT.

Starting from the aft section of the bridge deck, there is an alfresco lounge setup, mimicking its main deck counterpart; dark wood is used in the wooden furniture, creating a veranda-like atmosphere, right next to the alfresco dining table, placed underneath the hardtop (which is actually a sundeck extension)

The entire atmosphere exudes naturality, with the sea in the background serving as an aesthetic compliment to the layout and design of the bridge deck aft. Since the bridge deck is walk-around (unlike the main deck), guests can use the wide side decks to reach the bow sundeck, located in front of the interior helm station windshield.

The bow sundeck consists of two extra-wide sunbeds, as well as a practical bench and several moving chairs; this location is perfect for guests who want to enjoy their morning cup of coffee in peace and privacy, overlooking the glistening Adriatic horizon in the morning and wondering what the day has in store for them. Getting back to the bridge deck stern, guests can step into the sky lounge using the wide glass sliding door.

The bridge deck naval architecture tries to imitate white coral, a characteristic that can also be observed in the sky lounge. This kind of planned motif really ties together the artistic concept behind SPIRIT, raising her value above yachts that are decorated for “decorations sake” and do not have any higher artistic direction.

Right off the portside, there is a second interior bar, where at least one of the crew members will always make sure that the guest`s glasses are always topped off, regardless of them spending time in the interior or exterior.

Forward from the bar is the sky lounge, set up in a traditional fashion and by following sea-related motifs present throughout SPIRIT yacht charter. White colours with blue and turquoise details create an enjoyable environment, especially if you plan to watch a movie with your charter party on the forward-placed big screen smart TV.

Another excellent addition to the bridge deck is the day head, situated right behind the TV setup, which means you can wash your hands after eating hand-made popcorn, prepared by your loving crew for your TV night.

YACHT SUNDECK

The main deck and the bridge deck aboard SPIRIT yacht charter were only warm-up elements, because the sundeck on this awesome yacht will be the crowning jewel of your entire holiday in Croatia. This area was meant to be enjoyed under the warm summer sun, first by spreading yourself on the ovally-shaped sofa island, placed on the stern.

A very unique feature, this grand oval sunbed enables several guests to comfortably sit and lay down next to each other at once, with the crew on standby for your drink and snack orders.

Forward, a huge table offers the second alfresco dining option aboard SPIRIT yacht charter. The design of the table, together with the construction of the hardtop pylons, creates an impression of a seafloor, with colourful aquamarine table setting and accessories, and the ever-present sea-inspired motifs.

Parallel to the table on either side, long sofa benches are moulded into the sundeck superstructure, presenting a quaint area where guests can sit and admire the Adriatic panorama while SPIRIT is cruising. Besides the light-brown teak, white absolutely dominates the exterior décor of the sundeck, harmonizing with the shimmering blue sea in the background.

Towards the sundeck bow, a fully-equipped wet bar enables your hard-working crew to serve drinks, as well as have icy beverages close at hand. But, this is not everything; this wet bar setup is also equipped with an ovally-shaped show cooking grill surface, encircled on one side by a C-shaped high table, where guests can sit and enjoy the show performed by your experienced yacht chef. Your chef`s performance can also be viewed from the dining table, as well as padded benches placed parallel to the grill station.

At the very tip of the sundeck, the coup de grace of SPIRIT yacht charter; a bespoke jacuzzi, encircled on one side by a huge arrangement of comfortable sun cushions and matrasses, which provide a fantastic sunbathing option, as well as the ability to communicate with the guests soaking in the jacuzzi.

A charter vacation aboard SPIRIT yacht charter always entails guests falling in love with her sundeck and its many excellent amenities, that are sure to provide an unforgettable holiday experience in Croatia.

YACHT LOWER DECK

As is the case with all the interior design aboard SPIRIT yacht charter, incredible details and intricate design drawing inspiration from the very core of the Croatian Adriatic sea are everywhere to be found, including the lower deck cabins.

Consisting of 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin, the lower deck is littered with different sea motifs, like corals and sea horses, that integrate nature and the sea into a crucial part of the yachting experience aboard SPIRIT yacht charter.

Yacht charter accommodation: twin cabin

Usually, this accommodation is reserved for children, because of its specific colours, design patterns and layout. There is enough room between the twins to fit an entire twin bed with a frame, meaning kids can use the carpeted floor to play with their toys brought from home or prepared in advance by a member of your local charter crew.

The twin also contains one extra berth, in form of a hidden Pullman above one of the twins. This arrangement adds more versatility when deciding on sleeping options, like the nanny having the ability to sleep with the kids in their room.

Because the colour is soft peach-pink mixed with white and beige, the soothing and playful cabin is best given to children, as they will be the best recipients of this kind of environment.

Although, with several cosmetic changes, like the beddings, the linen and artwork, this cabin could also accommodate adult guests without any kind of weird impressions.

Yacht charter accommodation: double cabin

The double cabin is somewhat similar to the VIP, but with a more compact layout and smaller windows. It is still a well-appointed and luxurious yacht accommodation, with everything a guest would need for a prolonged but comfortable stay at sea.

Texturized walls remind of coral surfaces, creating an appearance of the sea floor. The choice of colour is also interesting, opting for a combination of white and beige for the details and peach as the majorly-used colour.

This choice works well with the quaint accessorize in form of peach and white corals, which create further ties with the ocean floor. The centrally-placed queen-sized berth has a nightstand on either side, with a leather adornment protecting the headspace of sleeping guests.

A window on the starboard side makes sure that this cabin stays lit during the day; with a table beneath the double window, guests can also read and write in the comfort and privacy of their cabin, as well as eat a meal or check some emails on their laptop.

Yacht charter accommodation: VIP cabin

There are two VIP cabins aboard SPIRIT yacht charter – they are identical in their layout, but totally different when it comes to cabin cosmetics. Both are very spacious, providing a queen-sized berth and plenty of leg room to move around the cabin freely, as well as double nightstands.

Also, both VIP cabins have a three-faced window, making them more illuminated during the day, in comparison with the double cabin. Next, both cabins have plush, peach-coloured carpets, as well as flat-screen smart TVs facing the berths.

This is where their similarities end, because the main difference between the two VIP cabins is the colour choice. One VIP leans toward peach, just like the double cabin, with the other VIP being adorned by blue and aquamarine details. The two VIPs also have different table setups, being on opposite sides of the cabins. Lastly, the ensuites in both VIP cabins are lavishly decorated and well-equipped to handle a prolonged stay at sea.

YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM

The swimming platform on SPIRIT yacht charter is used exclusively for boarding and swapping water toys; it was intentionally designed to be compact and to serve a specific function i.e. swapping between water toys and getting on and off the Costume chase boat.

A good thing about this swimming platform is the circular staircase on either side, creating a grand entrance to the yacht, when observed from sea level and upwards. You could also enjoy being close to the surface of the sea on the swimming platform, while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying the view of the incredible Adriatic.

Also, there is potential for sunbathing on the swimming platform, but that potential would be better spent on one of the dozen water toys aboard SPIRIT yacht charter, which provides different sunbathing options.

YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS

One of the first things you will notice about SPIRIT`s water toys is the Custom 12-meter chase boat. This tender is more than just “a tender” -it is an all-around ship, equally good for fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling expeditions, towing inflatable toys and day trips to exotic locations in Croatia. It can fit up to 14 guests and provide air-conditioning aboard, as well as fishing chairs and out-riggers, for a unique fishing experience.

Very robust and reliable, but also stylish and fast, this Costume chase boat will provide the ideal background for enjoying the fact that SPIRIT yacht charter is an RYA-certified diving and water sports centre, offering instructions and certifications for guests willing to learn a new skill on their yacht charter holiday in Croatia.

You can also utilize one of 10 snorkeling sets or the fishing gear; ask your charter crew for advice and they will recommend the best sites for fishing or snorkeling, thanks to their local know-how.

SPIRIT yacht charter can also field a surprisingly large number of different water toys, and each one will be able to offer a different experience of excitement in the crystal-clear waters of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

First on the list are two Yamaha jet skis, that are able to carry 2 persons each. You can let your yacht crew organize a race between guests on the jet skis or you can use these swift water vessels to scout the sea surrounding SPIRIT and find a perfect cove for a private sunbathing session.

Your superyacht charter offers kids a chance to enjoy their private Aquapark in the middle of the sea. This is due to the inflatable yacht slide and the trampoline; both toys make children jump with joy, tieing them up for hours on end, during which time the parents can enjoy an intimate glass of champagne on the sundeck.

With 4 stand-up paddleboards and 4 kayaks, you and your guests can form a literal water posse and head towards land in a group effort. Paddling while also chatting and laughing with your charter party will truly be a unique experience – especially when you start pushing people into the water. Since someone from your charter crew will always be close by and monitor the safety of all guests, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

There is also professional windsurf gear aboard SPIRIT yacht charter, and at least one of the crew can teach you all the basics. After some theory, you will be able to surf the waves with the power of the wind and discover the true essence of the Adriatic sea.

Finally, 2 Sea bobs will allow a pair of charter guests to experience what it is like to move and live like a fish in the sea. Powered by a quiet electric motor with a long-lasting battery, the Sea bob enables the rider to hold onto the motor, while it propels forward, above or below the surface of the sea. Observe from close proximity all the treasures of the Adriatic seabed and take magnificent photos with an underwater camera, provided by your diligent yacht crew.
