FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW
Inspected by Us.
REBECCA V yacht charter is a vessel with a soul yearning for the sea; because of this, she will bring you closer to the Croatian Adriatic than any other charter yacht in Croatia.
Built by Benetti in 2009, she exudes a certain dose of Italian flair and design, most prominently observed in the lifestyle additions and small, but impactful changes in the layout of the decks or the arrangement in the salon. Also, the fabrics and furniture used were all manufactured in Italy, meaning they adhere to the luxury yachting standard.
With Stefano Righini being the naval architect behind REBECCA V yacht charter, guests have a certain guarantee when it comes to the adaptable and costume-made hull and superstructure elements.
Her length is 25 meters, enough to accommodate 10 guests allocated in 4 cabins, 2 of which are double cabins and 2 are triple cabins.
The quality of your holiday will largely depend on 4 crew members aboard REBECCA V yacht charter. Luckily, they are professional sailors with years of experience in the yachting and hospitality sectors, more than able to provide a bespoke experience for your vacation in Croatia.
She was recently refitted with improved amenities and yacht gadgets, like entertainment systems, satellite TV, excellent Wifi and several new water toys. REBECCA V can develop a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots, which means a more detailed-oriented cruise, where you will have enough time to spot peculiarities along the Croatian coastline.
A DAY ON THE YACHT
If you plan on spending your holiday in Croatia this summer, chartering REBECCA V in Šibenik with SuperYachts Croatia would be a good way to ensure that every detail of your vacation goes as planned.
Šibenik is an old maritime settlement, with plenty of history embedded in its white stone architecture, small piazzas, forts, churches and palaces. It provides access to the central part of the Croatian Adriatic sea, but also options for day trips inland, like visiting the incredible Krka National Park.
When you first arrive in Šibenik, you will get a chance to explore its charming narrow alleyways and cultural riches, on a quick tour of city`s old core. You can do this alone or with help from a hired local guide, provided by SuperYachts Croatia`s logistics team.
If you plan on spending more time in Šibenik than just for a quick look around, there are charming piazzas to be experienced, as well as a UNESCO-protected Šibenik Cathedral, a stone building that was constructed without using any mortar.
Near the cathedral, you can dine in Pelegrini, Šibenik`s Michelin star restaurant. Thanks to a wide network of partners, SuperYachts Croatia`s local brokers are able to procure everything you will need on your holiday, including show tickets, club entrances and table reservations in some of the most exclusive restaurants in Croatia.
When you are ready to board REBECCA V yacht charter, she will be waiting for you at near the main seaside promenade in Šibenik, so you can officially start your yachting holiday in Croatia. If you have not eaten, you can enjoy lunch on your yacht while she is underway; everything about the itinerary is subject to change, upon prior notice and reasonable expectations.
This means that the crew and the yacht are flexible, regarding timetables, locations and dining arrangements, if you inform them in advance. Once REBECCA V starts cruising and you pass the Šibenik strait, you will find yourself face-to-face with a shimmering turquoise sea and a wonderfully-picturesque coast.
With some time left on the cruise, you might want a short tour of the yacht – to check out your accommodations, or the lounging and dining parts of the yacht, where you will be spending most of the time aboard.
A yacht lunch during a cruise is incredible because the panorama keeps changing, which is like watching a nature documentary that is constantly surrounding you, while you dine.
Enjoy dishes such as fried crab legs with a wasabi dip, sweet and sour pork with asparagus and onion fried rice and peach, lemongrass and cardamom mousse cake for dessert.
If not, stay on the flybridge and sip cocktails prepared by your attentive stewardess, while you chit-chat with your charter party about your expectations for the holiday.
Take in the shifting scenery as you get closer to your main destination of the day, Primošten – a coastal city located some 15 nautical miles from Šibenik.
Primoštan is an enchanting settlement, reminding travellers of a fairy-tale castle on a hill. This is because its Old Core is located on a small peninsula, which is also elevated, and the architecture is built circularly around the peninsula and upwards, finishing with a charming church of the Blessed Virgin Marry.
Walk on its charming cobblestone streets and experience the medieval atmosphere and times long past in Primošten. Observe artisans and artists littering the streets of Old Town, contributing to the liveliness of the atmosphere. Exit the old core peninsula and walk on the modern promenade, connecting different parts of Primošten. For lovers of summer nightlife, several nearby nightclubs offer exclusive programs and some of the best DJs in Europe and beyond.
Also, Primošten has several smaller islands in its vicinity, which are perfect for escaping the everyday hustle and bustle, retreating to beaches only reachable by boat or yacht. This acts as a filter, guaranteeing that there are no crowds and that everyone`s privacy is respected.
You can anchor in a nearby bay and observe Primošten from afar or berth near Old Town and enjoy its historic scenery. Which every choice you may choose, Primošten will accommodate with inviting cuisine, hospitable locals and plenty of summer manifestations. These will include concerts, plays, movie screenings, exhibitions, and every other form of popular entertainment.
If you want, you can leave all this for later and anchor near the islet of Smokvica, about 300 meters from Old town. Here you can enjoy a bit of privacy and play with the water toys on your yacht, fully utilizing the absence of big summer crowds on this island. As you sunbathe, sip cocktails and savour the wonderful embrace of the Croatian Adriatic sea, the late afternoon will display some of the most awesome sunsets you could observe in Croatia.
Return to the guest cabins aboard REBECCA V yacht charter and get ready for the evening. Stroll through the historic cobblestone streets of Primošten Old Town, now lit up with flickering street lights, contributing to the atmosphere of historicity and cultural richness. Drink local wine in exclusive restaurants and return to REBECCA V for the afterparty.
YACHT CHARTER DINING
The type of cuisine aboard REBECCA V yacht charter is totally adaptable to you and your preferences. That is the main reason why our expert SuperYachts Croatia broker will entice you to fill out the preference sheet, so the chef and the crew know what kind of dining experience you are expecting.
Choose between a formal or informal setting, and different types of menus, but always bare in mind the spatial capacity of the yacht; room restriction is something that impacts dining as well.
Nevertheless, you can look forward to indulging in dishes such as fresh oysters with black caviar and home-made Croatia buns, a seafood paella, made with lobster tails, free-ranged chicken and locally-sourced vegetables and a triple matcha mousse cake.
YACHT MAIN DECK
REBECCA V yacht charter fields a traditional profile with modern curves and sleek transitions between elements. The elegantly historic interior uses wood as a primary element and builds a unique atmosphere around it. The result is very organic; REBECCA V yacht charter feels like she could accommodate both guests seeking luxury and a family on a charter vacation.
This is because she is Italian, with signature modes of stylish simplicity that have been the trademarks of Italian design for generations. When guests come aboard, they might want to start the tour from the main deck aft, a place equally fitting for lounging with cocktails and alfresco dinners. A long bench follows the stern, with accompanying chairs and a modular table.
There is a wet bar to port and a staircase leading to the flybridge to starboard, with broad side decks granting access to the bow sundeck. Sun lovers will greatly appreciate the subtle charm of the front sundeck, for it has many advantages.
First, sunbathers are protected from views and enjoy full privacy, even from the charter crew. Also, the very wide sunbeds are also very comfortable, guaranteeing a sensual experience under the sun. When you have had enough sunbathing, return to the main deck aft and step into the interior salon.
Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area
There is a strong presence of polished wood in the interior salon, which gives it a historic look, but with a modern approach, which remains in touch with contemporary luxury requirements, yet still retains some of that classical Italian naval charm, that hides its presence in wood.
The sofa and the chairs are placed on the starboard side, creating a wonderful interior lounge space for guests to relax before or after dinner. Right across the sofa is a quaint games table, perfect for a game of chess right next to wide windows – let the idyllic seascape inspire you for some innovative moves, regardless of which game you choose to play.
Also to port is the interior dining table, a good option to have if you want to spice up the dining arrangement; you could have breakfast on the main deck aft, lunch in the interior salon and dinner on the sundeck
Opposite the table, to starboard, is the interior staircase, connecting the sundeck with the interior salon, so there are no traffic jams between guests and the crew. Forward from the salon are the interior helm station and the main deck master cabin.
Yacht charter accommodation: main deck master cabin
The master offers a spectacular panorama due to wide windows, with masses of daylight filling this cabin from dawn to dusk. The bare wooden floor adds a shimmer to the decor, but also a cold surface to walk on during the hot summer months.
There is a small vanity table with a chair to starboard and the queen-sized berth is placed in the centre of the master, providing plenty of walk-around room. Also, there is a mirror behind the berth headspace, creating an illusion of depths, as well as accentuating any incoming daylight.
The majority of the décor is based around wooden surfaces, which are polished in a way that preserves the natural darkness of wood i.e. much dimmer than it is imaginable, thereby creating a much more natural environment.
In front of the berth is the entrance to the ensuite, which is luxurious, with bright overtones and polished surfaces that bounce natural light into the spacious shower cabin.
YACHT FLYBRIDGE
The stern of the flybridge is reserved for transporting the tender when REBECCA V yacht charter is underway. When the tender is launched using the hydraulic crane, a great extent of space opens up to be enjoyed in many different ways.
You can be active on your holiday and exercise with your personal trainer or a member of your charter party. This means yoga, aerobics and improvised gym exercises right in the middle of the Croatian Adriatic sea, surrounded by fresh sea air and beautiful panoramas, both of which will have a positive impact on your workout. When you are done, jump into the sea and feel immediately refreshed and rejuvenated.
Forward from this, a long C-shaped sofa bench follows the portside handrails, with a second alfresco dining table being placed amidship on the sundeck. Next to the dining table is a fully stocked bar, where members of your charter crew will be able to prepare drinks for the entire charter party.
Finally, the bow of the sundeck hides another sunbathing spot, in the form of a large sunbed, facing directly forward. This is an excellent place to relax under the sun or enjoy the scenery while REBECCA V is underway.
All of these amenities make spending time on the sundeck of REBECCA V yacht charter a very enjoyable experience, one that guests love so much, they rarely move from the sundeck at all.
YACHT LOWER DECK
One thing that is surely special about the lower deck on REBECCA V yacht charter is that it has 3 cabins, that is 1 VIP double cabin and 2 triple cabins, consisting of a double and twin bed. The triple cabins are identical, when it comes to the layout, with minor differences in décor and artwork.
Yacht charter accommodation: VIP cabin
The VIP resembles the master in many ways i.e. having lots of glossy dark wood surfaces, but also a queen size berth, and plenty of natural light coming in through the big portholes on either side of the cabins, since its layout is full beam.
Also, to starboard, guests can relax on a compact, but charming sofa or sit down at the portside vanity table and enjoy the view, since the window is right above the table.
Yacht charter accommodation: triple cabin
The queen-sized berth is next to the wide portholes, enabling guests to choose the amount of daylight they want, when resting. The triple cabin offers versatile sleeping arrangements, which are excellent if you are bringing children aboard and you want to sleep in the same room.
Alternatively, the triple cabin is the most flexible of all accommodations, able to appropriate many different sleeping arrangements and letting the charter guests have more freedom when it comes to assigning cabins.
YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM
The extended swimming platform will provide easy access to the sea for guests, but also enable spending some time here, since the platform is wide enough to accommodate several guests. You can soak your feet in the refreshing Adriatic sea while drinking a cocktail served by your loving stewardess, or work on your tan while touching the water with your feet or hands; it does not get any better than this.
Since REBECCA V yacht charter carries her tender on the sundeck when underway, this frees up lots of space on the swimming platform by default.
YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS
REBECCA V yacht charter carries her tender on the sundeck and launches it with the hydraulic crane right next to it. When it is in the water, the tender will be able to tow guests looking for an exciting ride in the sea.
This will be possible on the wakeboard, the kneeboard or the inflatable donut. Each one of these towable toys offers a different experience; the wakeboard is by far the most challenging to master, but it is easy to learn, with the kneeboard being a dialled-down version of the wakeboard and the donut a toy most preferred by kids.
Alternatively, the jet ski will provide the same experience of speed on the water as the tender, but only for one rider at a time. Also, the jet ski is more agile than the tender, able to speed up faster and turn much sharper. For experienced riders, there is nothing better than flying over the waves, while the novices can learn by listening to the tips and advice given by the professional charter crew.
The stand-up paddleboard and the kayak both offer great opportunities for stretching your arms and being active while paddling. On the other hand, you can opt for a more relaxed and chilled experience, gently hovering above the sea and using the snorkeling equipment to observe the majestic beauty of the Adriatic sea floor, while floating on the paddleboard or kayak.
