AMY Yacht Charter - Smaller Yacht with an Excellent Selection of Water Toys
AMY is a luxury yacht built by Italian shipyard Ferretti as part of the Ferretti 630 range. These vessels are known for their elegant and timeless design. She underwent a comprehensive refit in 2019.
The two crew on board AMY have worked together since 2015, and their commitment to guests’ enjoyment and relaxation on board makes this yacht truly stand out from other similar vessels on the charter market. Six lucky guests will be hosted in three luxury cabins: a large master, a double and a twin.
Perfectly designed for children and families, AMY has a bright, neutrally decorated interior. Her main saloon has large windows, casual seating and formal dining space. She is equipped with all the modern amenities that guests would need on a cruise, including a Smart TV, Wifi and Netflix.
Moving outside, the aft deck is a lovely space for enjoying an evening drink or sitting in the warm Croatian weather. Upstairs, her large flybridge is the perfect place to spend the day sunbathing and relaxing, with comfortable seating and areas to soak up the sun.

FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW
Inspected by Us.
Jump aboard the yacht that will introduce you to all the wonders of the Croatian Adriatic sea, and experience an unforgettable vacation in Croatia. Trust in SuperYachts Croatia to create the perfect itinerary for you and your charter party, for complete enjoyment in the paradise-like environment of the turquoise sea.
Her length of 20 meters caters to all sorts of different tastes and ways of spending a charter holiday in Croatia; thanks to her smart naval engineering and innovative ways of using deck space, she seems much larger and wider.
Because her beam is only 1.6 meters, AMY yacht charter will have direct access to a lot of different bays and coves, otherwise inaccessible to larger yachts, by any other means than by tender.
Since AMY yacht charter was built by Ferretti in 2007 as part of the Ferretti 630 range, guests will be able to notice all sorts of Italian designs and solutions, from comfortable furniture, stylish amenities, luxurious accommodations and an overall approach to décor that is undeniable Italian.
With her last refit being in 2019, AMY yacht charter is ready to take on new charter challenges and provide her guests with unique experiences in the Croatian Adriatic sea. All the interior spaces onboard are fully air-conditioned, as well as provide excellent WiFi connection, so you always stay connected with the outside world if you want to, even on holiday.
AMY yacht charter can also accommodate 6 guests, allocated in one of 3 cabins onboard, 2 of them being double and 1 being convertible from twin to double, allowing for versatility when choosing cabins between charter party members.
A big plus for all compact yachts is their speed and AMY yacht charter is no exception. Her cruising speed is 22 knots, with her top speed easily reaching 30 knots or more. This means that you can fly over your charter itinerary, leaving you with more time to do things you would not have time to do on bigger yachts. AMY yacht charter is a perfect example of why charter guests should also consider booking compact yachts.
A DAY ON THE YACHT
Arrive a bit later in the day and take a tour of Šibenik with a local guide, hired by the SuperYachts Croatia logistics team. Šibenik is one of the oldest port towns in Croatia, recognized for the impact it had on the region`s history. The old core of Šibenik is a treasure trove of medieval palaces, defensive architecture and sacral monuments, including the forts of Sveti Nikola and Sveti Ivan, but also the city walls, bastions, gates and the phenomenal, UNESCO-protected Šibenik cathedral.
If you time your visit to Šibenik according to the busy schedule of summer events, you could be attending the Šibenik Cultural Summer, the Šibenik Evenings, the International Children`s festival or one of many other performances, including open-air music festivals presided by world-renowned DJs.
These and many other reasons make Šibenik a good place to start your Croatian yacht adventure because it opens the door to an incredible number and variety in its neighbouring archipelago. One of these miraculous islands will also be your target for today, the island of Žirije. Located 22 kilometres (14 Miles) southwest from Šibenik, Žirije is also close to the incredible Kornati National park.
The name of the island refers to a once abundant number of oak trees that grew around the island (Žir=acorn). The island has changed since it got its name, swapping oak for vineyards, olive groves, fig orchards and lavender fields.
The hinterlands of Žirije are a fantastic destination for an inland trip, because the panorama is littered with dry stone walls that crisscross the land into a maze of charming “wild” gardens. There are also a lot of medicinal and aromatic plants that grow in abundance, so you can actually taste the island in your next dish, seasoning a grilled Adriatic seabass with the wild spices you found growing around Žirije.
The waters around the island embrace it with many bays and coves, where a clean and healthy seabed provides a favourable habitat for fish and other animal life. Once you arrive near Žirije, your captain will most likely opt for anchoring in Mikvica, Pečenja, Koromašnja, Muna or Tratinska bay, the largest bays on the island. Although, you can also pick a bay that tickles your fancy along the way….
Once AMY yacht charter comes to a halt, find your seat on the main deck aft and enjoy an alfresco yacht lunch, surrounded by beautiful nature. After lunch, you can check out the ancient fortress of Gradina, made by the Romans in the 6th century. This ruined fort can be found on a hill near Žrije village, and is a good point of interest for charter guests willing to enjoy the panorama of the surrounding Šibenik archipelago.
A Roman fortress named Gradina once stood on the hill in Žirje but now lies in ruins due to its previous battles and degeneration from the weather over the centuries. The fortress is believed to have originated in the 6th century and played an integral part in that era.
In the afternoon, after the strength of the sun subsides, enjoy unobstructed fun on the water using AMY’s water toys. Play in your private piece of the Adriatic as you discover many different interesting things and secrets of the indented coastline of Žirije island using the jet ski, the Sea bob or the stand-up paddleboards.
This means that when you are done touring the interior of the island, playing with water toys and enjoying the comfortable opulence of AMY yacht charter, you can also experience what fun there is to be had in Žirje.
Consult with your local charter crew about the best restaurant on the island and enjoy the taste of authentic Croatian cuisine, made by following traditional recipes and using only fresh local ingredients.
After you are done with your dinner, enjoy touring the setup of Žirje’s Fishermen’s Evenings, where local fishermen sell their catches of the day at incredible prices, and also prepare them according to the tradition of the island.
You can also catch a glimpse of the Bodul Pripetavanja, a competition between the island natives and visitors from the neighbouring islands, incorporating everything between soccer, water polo, swimming, car racing and the grand finale, the rope pull.
Let the charm of Žirje island sweep you off your feet and prepare you for many more days of joy and wonder, as you tour the Croatian Adriatic sea and experience its secrets.
YACHT CHARTER DINING
Because there are only two members of the crew and there is no designated chef, your dining experience will not be as lavish as on bigger yachts. Still, there is a whole universe of Adriatic flavours to experience and AMY yacht charter offers several different means to do so.
First, you can always rely on your stewardess to prepare meals, but seeing that she has other duties to attend to, relying on her cooking prowess every time would mean that other parts of the interior would suffer.
This leads to other options, like you or other members of your charter party preparing meals; you can even host a cooking competition and let your skill outshine all others. Finally, you can always eat in one of 10 Michelin restaurants in Croatia, all of which provide a bespoke approach to luxury dining, and thanks to your well-connected broker from SuperYachts Croatia, you will always have a table waiting for you at any restaurant.
Another thing to note is that, although Croatia offers 10 Michelin restaurants, there are also plenty of exclusive and family-owned restaurants scattered across the Adriatic coastline.
These establishments will allow you to sample native dishes made from local ingredients, like an octopus salad, a seabass soup, grilled fish or meat plates with mixed vegetables and traditional Croatian apple strudel for dessert.
YACHT EXTERIOR
An all-white exterior sets only subtle boundaries between AMY yacht charter and the clouds that reflect plainly against the turquoise surface of the Croatian Adriatic sea. Her decks are filled with numerous sunbathing, lounging and dining spots, despite her somewhat limited length, guaranteeing a bespoke yacht experience in Croatia.
Starting from the main deck aft, AMY has two smaller modular tables instead of one big one, allowing charter guests to pick between a relaxed coffee-drinking atmosphere and alfresco dining, enabled when the two smaller desks become a big dining table.
Here, guests can enjoy the refreshing Croatian Adriatic sea, as its essence reaches straight through the decks and into the interior; margining together nature with her naval architecture, AMY yacht charter will make guests feel like they are an integral part of nature, during their entire stay aboard.
Using the starboard staircase, guests can climb onto the flybridge or use the side deck gangway to reach the front sundeck. The big sunbed on the bow of the main deck is excellent for guests who want to feel the sun touch their skin in complete privacy, all with a terrific view.
The bow sundeck is also a perfect place to lay down and observe the passing panorama, while AMY yacht charter is underway. If at any time the sun becomes too much to bare, guests can always seek shelter in the air-conditioned main salon.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: MAIN SALON & DINING AREA
The elegant décor and timeless details, accompanied by natural and earthen colours, speak about AMY`s connection to nature. Similar shades of light brown and light beige create a wood-like environment, complemented by the massive amounts of natural light and the aquamarine glistening of the Adriatic sea, clearly visible through large windows.
As soon as you step through the glass sliding door, the galley is located to port, but you can also notice the C-shaped lounge sofa on the starboard side, with a small corner-placed armchair to port. The armchair is integrated into the superstructure and continues into compact cabinetry, until meeting with the interior staircase, which is placed to starboard and leads to the flybridge.
Sticking to the starboard and continuing to move forward, guests arrive at the interior dining arrangement, which is placed right across the interior helm station and a small dinette. A true cruising experience is sitting at the dining table or on the sofa and just watching your expert captain steer AMY yacht charter to the most beautiful bays in Croatia, only known to the locals.
YACHT FLYBRIDGE
Arriving on the flybridge by using the port side staircase, guests are immediately welcomed by a second alfresco dining arrangement, in form of a C-shaped bench, padded with leather and a big dining table.
Next to the staircase is the cooler, ice maker and freshwater tap, enabling your stewardess to top off your drinks swiftly and with ease. The exterior helm station is placed to port, while the entire flybridge bow is reserved for a huge sun mattress, which provides incredible sun access, as well as offers a comfortable place from where you can lazily watch as the Adriatic scenery goes by, while AMY yacht charter is cruising.
Lastly, a second staircase is located on the starboard side before the bow, connecting the interior main deck salon with the flybridge.
YACHT LOWER DECK
There are 3 cabins onboard AMY yacht charter, located on the lower deck of this stylish yacht. A full beam master cabin, a VIP double cabin and a twin cabin.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: MASTER SUITE
Although AMY yacht charter is a compact yacht, her engineers still managed to find enough space for a full beam master cabin. There is even a day bed to port, with a vanity table and a chair on the starboard side and a big closet, for all your holiday attire.
There is plenty of natural light, thanks to generously-sized portholes on both sides of the cabin, which accentuate the earthy colour tone of the cabin. Using plenty of natural colours, like dark and light brown, beige and crème, the master cabin manages to harmonize its atmosphere with the organic feeling of the ever-visible sea.
The ensuite is spacious, incorporating a sink, a head and a spacious shower cabin.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: VIP STATEROOM
The VIP cabin is located in the bow, guaranteeing privacy and a good level of sound insulation. The berth is placed centreline with the hull, which means guests sleeping in the VIP will not feel AMY yacht charter rolling, both underway or at anchor.
There are compact portholes on either side of the cabin, alongside a ceiling window, which will allow guests to enjoy the visual attraction of the evening sky, directly from their berth. Smartly-integrated cabinetry and storage spaces allow guests to put away their vacation equipment without causing clutter in the overall impression of the cabin.
YACHT CHARTER ACCOMMODATION: TWIN CABIN
Bright and earthy colours complement the amples of natural light in the twin, despite its compact size. The portholes in the cabin can be opened, letting in fresh sea air and filling the atmosphere of the cabin with revitalizing energy from the Croatian Adriatic sea.
The twin berths are separated by a single nightstand, and a big mirror extends above both the twin berths, creating an impression of a much wider cabin; also, the mirror reflects incoming natural light, so the twin stays brightly illuminated during the day.
YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM
The swimming platform is used to carry the tender while AMY yacht charter is underway. Once the tender is released, charter guests can use the swimming platform to enjoy being close to the sea.
Learning and trying out different water toys will be an easy feat when using the swimming platform, and someone from the charter crew will always keep an eye out for the safety of the guests when they are out on the water. Alternatively, you can bare in mind tips and tricks provided by your competent charter crew, when you start to learn how to water ski or wakeboard.
YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS
Considering the length of AMY yacht charter, this yacht has more toys than any observer could assume, from glancing at the volume of her garage . Despite this, she can field a small army of different toys, fitted for charter guests of all ages and interests.
First, the Williams Jet tender will be indispensable when guests will want to enjoy a day trip to a nearby island or just experience a secluded beach picnic. Also, the tender will be used to tow a number of different towable toys, including the water skis, the wakeboard, the kneeboard and a pair of inflatable donuts.
Since AMY yacht charter does not have an accompanying jet ski, she compensates by providing the jet board, a water toy which allows charter guests to learn how to surf, regardless if there are any waves or the sea is totally still.
A pair of Sea bobs will enable two charter guests to undertake a joint venture to the Adriatic seafloor. While being propelled through the water by the silent electric motor of the Sea bob, charter guests will surely enjoy a feeling similar to flight, as they observe the riches of the seabed from above.
The stand-up paddleboard is always a popular choice for charter guests who are keener to exploring the indented Croatian coastline on their own. Combined with snorkeling equipment, the SUP becomes a floating water centre on its own, having many different utilisations, from observing the Adriatic while laying on the SUP, free diving from the SUP or just sunbathing while laying on your back.
